After finding out about Mine, I feel the fight against Nishikiyama ended up being a let down narratively. I mean after all the brothers went through, it was a one round fight and in the end Nishiki redeems himself after that. I'd have liked to see the sacrifice play out after a second round when they were considerably more battered. Now that I look back on it.

The only thing that annoyed me was I actually played this on its original hardware in 2011 when I had the game and the lag and the frame rates were too slow and was a pain for me so I spent my money on the remaster recently and damn they got this fight better upscaled with zero to minimal lag and frame rate issues

This fight was by far the most memorable for Kiryu currently given the fact both of them grew up in a Orphanage driven by nothing but ambition and lonliness. It was sad how Mine died tho. That was practically Kiryu’s brother the way they fought out their emotions.
